Vuzix Blade Upgraded Smart Glasses are complete glasses that offer unprecedented options and possibilities. For example, the Blade Upgraded glasses provide a hands-free connection between the digital and real world and offer more options such as location-aware information, data collection, remote support communication with both audio and video, and much more.
The Blade Upgraded Smart Glasses have the same features as the regular Blade and include an autofocus 8-megapixel camera, built-in stereo speakers and advanced Vuzix voice control. No Bluetooth headset is required for this.
ANSI Z87.1 Certification
These smart glasses feature ANSI Z87.1 certification. This means that these glasses have been tested for the most common hazards that can occur in a workplace: blunt impact, radiation, splashes and drops of (fine) dust, welding and UV light and infrared.
Augumented Reality
The Vuzix Blade glasses are equipped with “Augumented Reality”. This is a live, direct or indirect, image of reality that merges digital instructions with the Waveguide optic. These added elements often contain sensor data or additional information about the environment. Because the Waveguide is made transparent, there is minimal distraction for the eyesight. At the same time, the wireless glasses are a complete AV communication tool for remote support applications. Blade Upgraded Smart Glasses enable safe remote working while keeping attention on the job and protecting the eyes safely.
Companion-app
Download and install the Vuzix Blade Companion App from the App Store or Google Play. The Companion App allows easy installation and customization of the Blade and manages the communication link between the Blade and a smartphone.
